After reading an article about how few women* can draw a recognizable vulva, I realized that I couldn't do it either. Until then, I had never actively looked at my own vulva, which is definitely due to the suppression of female sexuality in our society. And that made me angry, because almost everyone of us knows what a penis looks like. So I started drawing anatomically detailed vulvas. I never imagined how well this would be received in my environment and beyond, and that it would take on a life of its own. I am so grateful to have found my mission in my art and the sexual empowerment of people with vulvas. V like Vulva - Spreading Vulvas since 2019!
