More than 2,000 people took part

Did you know that vagina is the most common term for the genitals? Do you think you could name all the parts of the vulva correctly? And what does a clitoris actually look like? You can read all this and more about the vulva in our report (available in German only).

Not all people who have a vulva are women and not all women have a vulva. Our survey is inclusive and all partners represent values of intersectionality. Results are based on FLINTA* (women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people) data.

Most of the people who took part in the survey were from our community. Many of them have already dealt with the topic of vulvas and have a high level of education. This means that with a more mixed group of participants, the results might have been different. We are sure that society as a whole still has a lot of catching up to do and a lot of taboos still need to be removed. More surveys and studies are definitely needed!
