For years, Cindy lived with the constant fear of cancer - recurring benign tumours and the prevalence of a BRCA mutation accompanied her like a shadow. She did not make the decision to have a mastectomy lightly, but out of a deep desire to finally be able to breathe freely and live without constant worry. Today she stands confidently in life, her scar tells of strength, self-determination and a femininity that is far more than an external form. (height 12cm; width 8.5cm)

For Lee, feminism is a space that creates room for all facets of femininity – free from expectations, full of authenticity. She finds her balance between yoga, Pilates and abstract painting. At her side: Henry the budgie – small, loud and just as headstrong as she is. (Height 9 cm; width 9 cm)
